Program: WALLACE WILSON
Former Director School of Art & and Art History | Professor, Photography
Wilson earned his MFA in photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. After teaching at the University of Florida alongside Jerry Uelsmann (b. 1934), Wilson became the Director of the School of Art and Art History at the University of South Florida, influencing generations of local artists.
Wilson has exhibited works in over 100 individual and group exhibitions in the US, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. His photographs have been collected by 20 public and private institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, The Art Institute of Chicago, the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris, and the International Polaroid Collection in Vienna.
Mr. Wilson will be discussing the changing landscape of art in 2023.
